Frequently asked questions
Everything about pricing, the free tier, store sizes, and how Shotapp works.
Yes. The whole studio is free: full resolution, every template, every device frame, real 3D, and every App Store and Google Play export size. The only thing the free tier adds is a small “Made with Storeshot” badge on your exports, and removing it is what Pro is for.
Free exports carry a small “Made with Storeshot” pill along the bottom edge. It sits clear of your artwork and covers nothing. Pro removes it entirely.
Pro is $39.99/year (about $3.33/month) or $6.99/month. It removes the export badge, unlocks batch export across every store size at once, and adds cloud projects with sync across devices.
No. Storeshot runs entirely in your browser, on Mac, Windows or Linux. There is nothing to download and nothing to install.
Yes. Storeshot exports pixel-exact, store-valid sizes for the Apple App Store (iPhone and iPad) and Google Play (phone and tablet), including the Play Feature Graphic, each with the no-alpha and aspect-ratio rules that store requires.
Swap the device frame and your layout stays put. Layouts are stored as proportions of the canvas rather than pixels pinned to one phone, so moving to next year’s device, or to a tablet, re-fits automatically.
Yes. Storeshot projects every tilted layer through one shared camera, so device frames and images given the same angle line up in the same scene. It also does multi-device clusters and wide panoramic layouts that span two or three screenshots.
Your working project autosaves on your device, so it’s there when you come back. With Pro, projects also sync to the cloud and keep version snapshots so a bad overwrite is recoverable.
Yes. Pro is a normal subscription you can cancel whenever you like, and you keep access through the end of the period you paid for.
Yes. Storeshot exposes its editor to AI agents over an MCP connector, so you can generate and tweak screenshots programmatically. Setup is copy-paste, with no repo to clone.
