Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data Storeshot collects, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
The short version. You can use the editor without an account, and your designs are processed in your browser. We only collect an email address if you choose to sign in, and payment details are handled entirely by our payment provider — they never touch our servers.
1. Who we are
Storeshot ("we", "us") is a web-based studio for creating App Store and Google Play marketing screenshots, available at storeshot.lamonade.xyz. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at support@lamonade.xyz.
2. What we collect
- Account information. If you sign in, we store your email address and a unique account identifier. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email and basic profile information from that provider — only what is needed to create your account.
- Subscription status. If you upgrade to Pro, we store whether your account is entitled to Pro features. We do not store your card number, CVV, or full payment details.
- Your designs. The screenshots and layouts you create are held in your browser. We do not upload or store the contents of your projects on our servers unless and until cloud sync is explicitly offered and you opt in.
- Local preferences. We use your browser's local storage to remember settings such as your theme and editor preferences. These never leave your device.
- Usage analytics. We collect privacy-respecting, aggregated product analytics — which pages and features are used, and anonymous events such as opening the editor or exporting — to understand what works and improve Storeshot. We do not create an analytics profile for anonymous visitors, and we do not use this data for advertising.
3. How we use it
- To create and secure your account and let you sign in.
- To determine whether you have access to Pro features.
- To respond to support requests and feedback you send us.
- To measure aggregate usage and improve the product.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Service providers
We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run Storeshot. They process data only on our behalf:
- Supabase — authentication and account storage.
- RevenueCat — subscription and entitlement management.
- Stripe — secure payment processing (handles your card details directly; we never see them).
- Vercel — application hosting and delivery.
- PostHog — privacy-respecting product analytics.
- Google (Gmail) — delivery of feedback notification email to our team.
5. Cookies & local storage
We use the storage necessary to run the app — to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences — and privacy-respecting analytics storage to measure aggregate product usage. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
6. Data retention
We keep your account information for as long as your account exists. When you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data, except where we are required to retain limited records (for example, transaction records) to meet legal obligations.
7. Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support@lamonade.xyz. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
8. Children
Storeshot is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Storeshot after a change means you accept the revised policy.
