Google Play screenshot sizes (2026): the complete reference
The pixel dimensions and aspect rules Google Play expects for phone and tablet screenshots — plus the Feature Graphic.
Google Play is more flexible on exact dimensions than the App Store, but it enforces aspect-ratio limits and requires a separate Feature Graphic for the top of your listing. Here are reliable sizes that satisfy the requirements.
Phone & tablet screenshot sizes
| Target | Pixels (W×H) | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Play phone | 1080 × 1920 | 16:9 portrait — a safe, crisp phone size. |
| Play tablet 10″ | 1600 × 2560 | Large-tablet master. |
| Play tablet 7″ | 1200 × 1920 | Smaller tablet display. |
Feature Graphic
| Target | Pixels (W×H) | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Feature Graphic | 1024 × 500 | Banner at the top of your Play listing. |
The Feature Graphic is required to be featured and appears above your screenshots — treat it as a mini billboard for your app.
The rules that matter
- Aspect limit: the long side can be at most twice the short side.
- No alpha. Export flat JPEG or PNG.
- 2–8 screenshots per type; minimum dimensions apply, so don’t go tiny.
